Artist Statement (Behind the Work)

"Change rarely happens as a quiet transition—it is often a high-voltage, explosive reaction. Part of the 'Acid on Canvas' series, 'Slowly Transforming' captures the exact micro-second where contrasting elements collide and morph. High-luminance lime greens and emeralds push against deep royal violets, triggering intricate, bursting cell structures across the surface. It represents the exhilarating, kinetic energy of personal evolution: freezing the precise moment where old patterns dissolve to make room for vibrant, unapologetic growth."

About the Artwork

"Slowly Transforming" is a mesmerizing, high-contrast fluid painting that captures the intense energy of smoldering ember waves and glowing heat. Cascading ribbons of rich crimson, deep ember orange, vibrant gold, and charcoal shadows merge across the surface, giving the impression of a slow, hypnotic blaze consuming dark matter. The organic movement and fluid cell formations create a dynamic visual pulse that draws the eye inward.

It brings warmth, depth, and energy to contemporary, mid-century modern, dark maximalist, or moody modern interiors.
